I have drafted numerous supplemental executive retirement agreements, split dollar plans, and other non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements. I have helped many employers update their deferred compensation arrangements to comply with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code and educated clients throughout the country on the intricacies of the recent IRS guidance on non-qualified deferred compensation. My practice also includes drafting employment agreements and severance plans to integrate nonqualified deferred compensation concepts with other aspects of the employment relationship.
